In 2003, Le Spleen de Paris became the bowels of New York and northern New Jersey ... and Slice / Life (annoyances, episodes) was scrawled. Powerfully capturing, a century and a half and an ocean removed, the 'beauty of life in a modern city', Slice / Life was written from the outside looking in (and indeed, through eyes of the poor...).
